Our Basic Content Guidelines

If you are interested in becoming an author or guest blogger for LocalPrana, please read our content guidelines before submitting your application.

1) The content must be informative and not promotional (no mention of specific business names).

2) The article should have a minimum of 1000+ words, but longer and more in-depth tends to be favored.

3) The article should have a keyword, keyphrase (or topic) focus and density. We aim for a density of 0.5% to 3%, depending on the length of the article.

4) The article should contain at least one image per every 250-350 words. So, a 1000-word blog should include 3-4 images.

Image criteria:

– Should be ‘labeled for commercial reuse with modification’
– Have high-quality and resolution, and to be between minimum 800px and maximum 1200px wide.
– Be relevant to the copy
– Good sources: your own high-quality photography, Unsplash, Canva, Pexels, Pixabay or other royalty-free sources.
